Instagram will soon launch new features to help creators grow content partnerships and expand their customer acquisition tools. They’ve been listening to user feedback for months.
One of these updates will allow users to tag products from businesses. Businesses will be notified when their followers tag products, and the business will have the ability to control who can tag the product.
Another feature will make it easier for users to shop directly from Instagram. In addition to this, the social network will launch an affiliate program for creators, so that more people can buy from brands they follow.
Insights will also be expanded from 30 days to 60 days. This will help marketers evaluate their performance in a much longer period of time. It will also allow them to use the calendar tool to customize the date range. Without the need for third-party apps, users will have access to all the data they need to make data-driven decisions.
The company is also testing a new feature called “Collab”. This feature will allow creators to team up with other creators and offer followers a variety of benefits. Users can invite collaborators to their profile.
Instagram is also launching a new desktop design. With this change, posts will be displayed in a full-screen format, and the background color will match the image. Currently, this update works only in English-speaking countries. However, Instagram will soon make it available to other languages.
Instagram will also be rolling out new subscriptions. Subscriptions will let creators charge a monthly fee for exclusive content. These subscriptions will give users access to Live videos, stories, and DMs.
